These boots were made for walking.
This time of year is when all the fall fashion boots descend upon us. I used to wear high heeled leather boots every day, when I lived in NYC. It was my uniform, but in the past few years I found that I didn’t wear any of the leather boots I was buying. Maybe it’s the LA weather or that you aren’t pounding the pavement here, or that I tend to go for more comfort these days. Flat boots are easy to wear and all the current styles have a heel or better yet a platform, if that’s what you’re looking for to give you some height if needed.
Here are my favorite styles for fall.
Mr./Mrs. Italy’s Black Chinchilla Fur Boots are what dreams are made of! They are completely decadent with burgundy chinchilla lining, so you know on camping trips your feet stay warm… Kidding! No one’s camping, nor glamping in these! But, they will keep you warm when you walk down the street.
OFF-WHITE Cordura Hiking Boots in white will definitely get you lots of attention, proceed with caution. These are a little bit punk, a little bit construction and a whole lot of thug chic.
Martin Margiela’s Leather Lace Up Booties remind me of the Manolo Blahnik “Timberlands” from 10 years ago, but BETTER! They have the perfect heel/wedge and the off-white color is just the right shade.
Give people something to look at when you walk out the door. Boom!
